how it works

a coin's contract cannot move, so migrating means selling the old coin and buying the new one, together. podz does both for every holder at once, and the new coin starts on pump.fun with all of it as its first buy.

holders pledge

old coins go into this migration's escrow

the goal is met

podz sells every pledge on the coin's own market

relay carries the proceeds to solana

the launch

the new coin is made on pump.fun; everything raised is its first buy

holders claim

each takes their share of the coins bought

if you hold the coin

  1. 1.

    check the snapshot

the migration page shows what your wallet held when it opened. you can pledge up to that.

  2. 2.

    pledge

on solana: one small transaction signed in phantom. on bnb chain and robinhood chain: a plain token transfer to the escrow, never an approval.

  3. 3.

    wait, or withdraw

until the goal is met you can take your pledge back with a signed message. podz sends it back and pays that fee.

  4. 4.

    claim

after the launch, sign one claim. solana holders use the wallet that pledged; evm holders first name a solana wallet with their evm wallet, once.

if you created the coin

  1. 1.

    find your coin

paste its contract. podz reads the creator the launchpad recorded, the holders, and what the sale could raise.

  2. 2.

    prove it is yours

sign the terms with that creator wallet. nothing is sent and nothing is paid.

  3. 3.

    set the terms

a goal of 10 to 90% of the eligible supply, and a deadline of 30 minutes to 14 days. the new coin keeps your coin's name, ticker, image and description exactly; they cannot be changed.

  4. 4.

    share it

send your holders the migration page. you earn 90% of the new coin's creator fees, for good.

before you pledge

  • the old coin falls when it migrates, because its liquidity moves into the new one.
  • pledged coins sit in podz's escrow until the goal or the deadline. every escrow and every transaction is on the escrows page.
  • on bnb chain and robinhood chain, the proceeds cross to solana through relay, a bridge.
  • what you get is an estimate until the launch: it depends on the sale price and on how many holders pledge.
  • nothing here promises a profit.

questions

who can open a migration?

only the wallet the launchpad recorded as the coin's creator. a coin created through a contract or program cannot migrate, because nothing can sign for it.

where are my coins while i wait?

in the migration's escrow, a wallet podz holds for that migration only. its address, balance and every transaction are on the escrows page.

what if the goal is never met?

at the deadline every pledge goes back to the wallet it came from. nothing is sold.

can i pledge more than i held at the snapshot?

no. coins bought after the snapshot do not count, so nobody can buy in late to dilute holders.

what happens to the old coin?

it falls: its liquidity is sold to make the new coin. that is what a migration is.

how much will i get?

your pledge ÷ all pledges × the coins the first buy gets. the migration page estimates it from live prices; it is fixed only at the launch.

i pledged from an evm wallet. how do i claim?

after the launch, sign a message with the evm wallet that pledged, naming a solana wallet you control (not an exchange deposit address). then claim with that solana wallet. the name cannot be changed.
